The Phangan Quest
Refund Policy
Last updated 19 September 2026 · Published by MAD Global LLC
We would rather give your money back than have you feel stuck with something you do not want. This page explains what you are buying, when you can get a refund, how to ask for one, and how you get paid.
1. What you are buying
The Phangan Quest is a digital story game. You buy a single-use access code. The game is delivered to you electronically and automatically, and it unfolds on your own phone, in text and audio. There is nothing to install and nothing physical to ship.
One purchase is one playthrough. The game is fully delivered once its final chapter has been delivered to you.
The story is written around real, publicly visitable places on Koh Phangan, Thailand. That is the recommended setting, not a requirement: every task can be answered from anywhere, any answer moves the story forward, and you can skip anything that is closed or that you would rather not do.
Nobody from our company meets you, accompanies you or supervises you, and we provide no in-person service of any kind. We have no office or service point on Koh Phangan. We do not arrange or reserve anything for you, and we provide no transport, no entry to any place, no meals, no accommodation, no equipment and no travel, accident or medical insurance. Anything you spend along the way — food, transport, entry fees — you arrange and pay for yourself, directly with whoever provides it.
It is a one-time purchase at the price shown at checkout. Nothing renews, there is no subscription, and there is nothing to cancel except the purchase itself. Creem, the seller (section 3), handles the tax, and the total you pay is shown at checkout before you pay.
You must be 18 or older — or older still, if the age of majority where you live is higher — to buy or to unlock a code. Anyone under 18 plays only together with a parent, guardian or other responsible adult who stays with them.
2. The short version
You can ask for a full refund within 14 days of your purchase, for any reason, as long as the final chapter of the game has not been delivered to you. You do not need to explain yourself. One email is enough.
This is the whole of our refund policy: everything we do about refunds is on this page. Two other documents also apply to your purchase — Creem's Buyer Terms, which govern the sale, and our Terms of Use, which govern the game.
3. Who you buy from, and who pays the refund
The Phangan Quest is published by MAD Global LLC, a limited liability company registered in Wyoming, USA. Our registered address is 30 N Gould St, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA, and phanganquest.com is operated by us. Support is by email only, at support@phanganquest.com, and we aim to reply within 2 business days.
The sale itself is made by Creem — Armitage Labs OÜ (registry code 16977866), Rotermanni 14, Tallinn 10111, Estonia. Creem is the merchant of record and our contractual reseller: they sell the game to you in their own name, take the payment, handle the tax, issue your receipt and process refunds. That is why Creem, not us, is the name on your receipt.
In practice this means you can come to either of us. We handle the game and the support; Creem moves the money.
Creem's Buyer Terms (https://www.creem.io/buyer-terms) govern the sale — read them before you buy. Our Terms of Use govern the game itself, and our Privacy Notice explains what we do with your data. If anything in Creem's Buyer Terms gives you less than this page promises, we will honour what this page promises.
4. The 14-day promise in full
Here is our promise to you, in plain words.
- You have 14 days from the moment you buy. Within those 14 days you can cancel and get back the full amount you paid.
- You do not need a reason. Changed your plans, changed your mind, it is not what you expected — all fine.
- Starting the game does not cancel the promise. You can unlock your code, read the first chapters, and still ask for your money back, as long as the condition below is met.
- The one condition: the final chapter must not have been delivered to you yet. One purchase is one playthrough, and the game is fully delivered once its final chapter has actually reached you and is open to you. After that, the game has been delivered in full and the 14-day promise no longer applies. Section 8 and your legal rights in section 9 still do.
Three things we want to be clear about that condition:
- It applies only if, before the game started, you confirmed at the unlock screen that you wanted it to begin and that your right to cancel would end once the game had been delivered to you in full (section 5), and we emailed you a copy of that confirmation. If you never gave that confirmation, your full 14 days run whatever we have sent you.
- We will never send the final chapter early to bring your 14 days to an end.
- A chapter that never reached you was not delivered. If something is missing, tell us and we will send it again — your 14 days keep running in the meantime.
This promise is ours. It applies to every buyer, wherever you live, and it sits on top of whatever rights your own law already gives you. If your local law gives you more, you keep the more generous option.
5. If you unlock your code inside the 14 days
The game is delivered electronically and starts when you unlock your code, so we make the trade-off visible before anything begins.
When you unlock a code within 14 days of purchase, the unlock screen asks you to confirm two things: that you want the game to start now, and that your right to cancel ends once the game has been delivered to you in full. We then email you a copy of that confirmation before the game begins, so you have it in writing.
Until the final chapter reaches you, your 14 days stand and you can still cancel.
6. How to ask for a refund
Pick whichever is easier for you.
- Email us at support@phanganquest.com.
- Or contact Creem, the seller named on your receipt.
Whichever way you go, include your order number or the email address you used for the order, so we can find you.
Any clear statement that you want to cancel is enough. There is no special wording, no form you must use, no questionnaire. If you prefer a ready-made text, use the model form in section 10.
If you write to us rather than to Creem, we pass your cancellation on to Creem, and it counts from the day you sent it to us.
Support is by email only. We aim to reply within 2 business days.
7. How the refund is paid
Creem refunds the full amount you paid, to the payment method you originally used, within 14 days of your request. We deduct no fee of any kind, and you do not have to give us bank details.
When a refund is issued, your access code is deactivated and the game stops there. If you change your mind later, you are welcome to buy again.
8. If something on our side stops you playing
If a fault on our side prevents you from playing — your code does not work, a chapter does not arrive — write to support@phanganquest.com and tell us what happened.
If we cannot fix it within 2 business days, or if it turns out it cannot be fixed at all, you choose what happens next: we extend your code so you can play later, or we refund everything you paid. Your call, not ours.
You do not have to show that anyone was at fault. This is separate from the 14-day promise above, and it is not limited to your first 14 days.
9. Your legal rights
Nothing on this page takes away rights you already have.
If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK, the law gives you its own right to withdraw from a distance purchase of digital content, normally within 14 days of buying. You lose that legal right only if you asked for the content to be supplied straight away and acknowledged that you would lose it — which is what the unlock screen in section 5 asks you to confirm. Our promise in section 4 is more generous than the legal minimum, and it runs alongside it.
If the game is faulty, incomplete or not what we described, consumer law where you live also gives you the right to have it put right free of charge and, if that is not possible, to a reduction or a refund. You do not have to show that anyone was at fault, and these rights are not limited to the first 14 days. Section 8 is how we handle this in practice; it never replaces those rights.
You keep the mandatory consumer protections of the country you live in, and you can bring a claim in the courts of your own country. We do not require arbitration, and we do not ask you to give up any right to take part in collective redress. These commitments are ours: they cover our Terms of Use and the way we handle your game and your support requests. The sale contract itself is with the seller named on your receipt and is governed by their Buyer Terms.
10. Model cancellation form
You do not have to use this. It is here so you never have to think about how to word it. Copy it, fill in what you know, and send it to either address below — sending it to one of us is enough.
``` To: Armitage Labs OÜ (trading as Creem), Rotermanni 14, Tallinn 10111, Estonia — the seller named on your receipt Copy: MAD Global LLC, 30 N Gould St, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA support@phanganquest.com
11. Still unsure?
Write to support@phanganquest.com before you buy or before you unlock, and ask us anything. We would much rather answer a question early than process a refund later.
