Everything here runs by email. Below you'll find how to reach us, what you're actually buying, who we are, who you buy from, how refunds work, and what to do in an emergency.
1. Email us
support@phanganquest.com
Write to us about:
- your access code, or a code that won't unlock
- anything in the game that seems broken, wrong or out of date
- a place in the game that has changed, closed, or shouldn't be there
- a refund or a cancellation
- a privacy request: access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawing consent
- anything else about the game
We aim to reply within 2 business days.
2. How support works
Support is by email only. There is no live support while you play, and the game never needs a reply from us to continue: any answer moves the story forward, and you can skip anything that is closed, unsafe or uncomfortable.
If your access code won't unlock or stops working, write to us. If a fault on our side prevents you from playing and we can't fix it within 2 business days, we'll extend your code or refund you — your choice.
We are not an emergency service and we do not monitor messages in real time. Please don't rely on us for anything urgent.
3. What you are buying
The Phangan Quest is a digital game. It is delivered electronically and automatically: after you buy, you receive a single-use access code. There is nothing to install. The story unfolds on your own phone, in text and audio.
One purchase is one playthrough — a single payment, not a subscription. You pay the price shown at checkout. The game is fully delivered once its final chapter has been sent to you.
You must be 18 or older — or the local age of majority, if that is higher — to buy the game or unlock a code. Under-18s may play only together with a parent, guardian or other responsible adult who stays with them.
What the purchase does not include, in any form: transport, entrance fees, accommodation, meals, equipment, insurance, reservations of any kind, or any in-person service. Nobody from the company meets, accompanies or supervises you, and there is no host or on-site staff.
4. Where you play, and what you arrange yourself
The game is designed around real, publicly visitable places on Koh Phangan, Thailand — viewpoints, beaches, villages, temples. That is the recommended setting, not a requirement. Every task can be answered from anywhere, any answer moves the story forward, and you can play wherever you are.
You decide where you go and how you get there. Anything you pay for along the way — food, transport, entrance fees — you arrange and pay for yourself, directly with the provider. Temple donations are voluntary and go straight to the temple. We include no insurance; travel insurance that covers what you actually do is strongly recommended.
No task requires you to swim, climb, enter water, leave a marked path, stand near an edge, step into a road, enter a private, closed or restricted area, or drink alcohol. Never read, listen to or answer the game while riding or driving — park somewhere safe first. The story waits: there is no timer, no ranking and no reward for speed.
Local rules always come first. If a sign, a staff member, a monk or an official says something different from the game, follow them and skip the task. The full safety guidance is in our Terms of Use.
5. In an emergency, call these — not us
In Thailand:
- 1669 — medical emergency and ambulance
- 1155 — tourist police (English-speaking)
- 191 — police
If someone is hurt or in danger, call one of these numbers first. Write to us afterwards, if you still need us.
6. Who we are
MAD Global LLC — a limited liability company registered in the State of Wyoming, USA Registered address: 30 N Gould St, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA Website: phanganquest.com Email: support@phanganquest.com
MAD Global LLC publishes and develops The Phangan Quest, and is the data controller for the personal data described in our Privacy Notice.
We have no office or service point on Koh Phangan and provide no in-person service of any kind. Nobody from the company meets, accompanies or supervises players.
7. Who you buy from
Creem — Armitage Labs OU Registry code 16977866 Rotermanni 14, Tallinn 10111, Estonia Buyer Terms: https://www.creem.io/buyer-terms
Creem is the merchant of record and our contractual reseller. They execute the sale in their own name, take the payment, handle the tax, issue your receipt and process refunds. Creem's Buyer Terms govern the sale itself; our Terms of Use govern the game.
Because Creem takes the payment, the name on your bank statement may not be ours. If you see a charge you don't recognise, email us before contacting your bank — we'll identify it for you.
8. Which one do I contact about what?
- The game — access codes, story, tasks, audio, places, privacy: email support@phanganquest.com.
- The payment — receipt, invoice, tax, the charge on your card, the refund payment itself: contact Creem, the seller named on your receipt. If you can't find their contact details, write to us and we'll point you to them.
9. Refunds and cancelling
You can get a full refund within 14 days of purchase, for any reason, as long as the final chapter of the game has not been delivered to you — even if you have already started. That is our own promise to every buyer, wherever you live, on top of any rights the law gives you.
If you unlock your code within those 14 days, the unlock screen asks you to confirm that you want the game to start now, and that your right to cancel ends once the game has been fully delivered. We email you a copy of that confirmation before the game starts.
To cancel, you can go to either of us: email support@phanganquest.com, or contact Creem, the seller named on your receipt, with your order number or the email address you used for the order. Any clear statement is enough — a model cancellation form is provided, and you don't have to use it.
Refunds are paid by Creem to your original payment method within 14 days of the request, and the access code is deactivated. Please come to us or to Creem before you go to your bank: a refund is faster than a chargeback.
The full text is in our Refund Policy.
10. Your rights as a consumer
This arrangement doesn't reduce your rights. Wherever you live, you keep the consumer protections your local law gives you, and nothing in our Terms of Use or in Creem's Buyer Terms takes them away. You can bring a claim in the courts of your home country. There is no arbitration requirement and no waiver of collective redress.
If the game doesn't work, or isn't what was described, come to us: we'll fix it, and where you're entitled to a refund we arrange it with Creem at no cost to you.
11. Privacy requests and your data
Write to support@phanganquest.com for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or to withdraw any consent you've given us.
What we hold: the order information Creem passes to us (such as your email address, order identifier and country), the answers you type, your progress, your access code, any photo you choose to send, and the emails you send us. Card details are collected and processed by Creem — we never see or store them.
We rely mainly on performing our contract with you to deliver the game and support it; on our legitimate interests for security and preventing abuse; and on your consent for anything optional, such as publishing a photo. Photo tasks are always optional, they are about places and objects, and we never publish a photo without your separate explicit consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
You can also complain to a data protection authority: in the EU/EEA, the authority in your country; in Thailand, the PDPC under the Thai PDPA. The full list of your rights, the legal bases we rely on and how long we keep things are in our Privacy Notice.
12. Reporting a problem with a place
If something in the game doesn't match what you found — a place is closed, a path is gone, a description is wrong — tell us. Include the name of the place and roughly where you were in the story, and we'll check it.
Opening hours, access rules and any fees are set by each place, not by us. Our routes and descriptions were researched from publicly available online sources and written with the help of AI tools; we do not inspect locations on site, so details can be out of date. This doesn't affect your rights: if something in the game is not as described, tell us — you may be entitled to a fix or a refund.
13. If you are responsible for a place in the game
If you own, manage or are otherwise responsible for a place that appears in The Phangan Quest and you'd like it changed or removed, write to support@phanganquest.com. We'll review it and act promptly.
We do not install, leave or place any sign, marker, box or other physical object at any location, and nobody from our company visits, works at or is present at your site. Players travel on their own initiative, as ordinary visitors, and the game tells them that your rules, your opening hours and any fees come first, and to skip anything you or your staff ask them not to do.
14. Our policies
Our Terms of Use, Privacy Notice and Refund Policy are published on this site. Creem's Buyer Terms, which govern the sale, are at https://www.creem.io/buyer-terms.
